Hi I’m Erika!

There are moments in nature when the atmosphere feels almost unreal – when light, color, and movement blur the line between what is seen and what is felt. Being surrounded by water, sky, and shifting air, I experience a quiet wonder so vivid it feels suspended in time.

I paint in response to that sense of wonder. Through layered textures, luminous color, and fluid motion, I seek to capture the feeling of being fully present inside a moment that feels almost too beautiful to be real. My work reflects not a specific place, but an emotional landscape – where calm, curiosity, and awe coexist.

As each composition unfolds, wonder and curiosity continues to guide my practice – an invitation to pause, to notice, and to reconnect with the subtle beauty that surrounds us every day.
